Polypropylene (abbreviated PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic that belongs to the group of polyolefins.
Filtration stage 1 is ideal for pre-cleaning the water; it removes, in particular, coarse impurities (e.g. lime), suspended matter and mineral compounds.

The "adsorption filter" consists of a block of activated carbon, which is a fine-grained porous carbon with a very large internal surface area. The contact surface area of ​​1 gram of activated carbon can reach 2,000 square meters. Activated carbon can clean water of viruses and bacteria, but not only that: the mechanical effect filters particles like a sieve, and thanks to the catalytic effect, the active ingredients are rendered harmless (for example, chlorine compounds).

The molecular filter works using reverse osmosis, a process in which water is purified using a semi-permeable membrane. The water is forced through a membrane with extremely fine pores using a pump. The membrane is designed so that only the purest water molecule can pass through.

Filters down to 0.0001 microns.

Refines the taste and odor of water after reverse osmosis. This final filter captures any remaining organic or chemical residue, ensuring fresh, pleasant drinking water.

The DoubleUV-Protect germ barrier works through an internal reservoir within the device, providing long-term protection against viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other microbes. Two 280 nm UV lamps ensure effective disinfection. This coordinated ultraviolet radiation breaks the connections in the DNA of germs and neutralizes them from the inside out. This creates an additional layer of security before dispensing the water.
